About EndNote
EndNote is a reference tool where you can build your own local library with references either manually or  download by searching various databases.
This is an introductory course where you will learn how how to create your own reference library and how to fill it with content from searching literature databases  offered  by the library in the campus network.
In your project report, PhD/Matser Thesis or published article you  always have to have a bibliography. It is generated automatically when you enter your publication in Word with references to references you already have downloaded to your EndNote library.
In addition, we will look at Cite While You Write, which is an interaction between EndNote and Word where you can insert citations in the text and get EndNote to create a bibliography automatically

EndNote can also retrieve full-text articles (PDF) of the references you have stored in your library

The course will go through the main features of EndNote and writing your article / report

Other information:
Last EndNote version X7.5 as free download from Progdist or http://software.ntnu.no for NTNU's students and staff
