SUMMARY:LaTeX for advanced users (English)
DESCRIPTION:An advanced course for anyone who is already acquainted with 
 LaTeX\, and wants to learn more. LaTeX is a command based system which is
  known to create nice-looking and well-structured documents. In addition\
 , the system has great support for mathematical expressions. The Universi
 ty Library now offers LaTeX courses for students about to start working o
 n a bachelor or a master thesis\, and employees who want to use LaTeX for
  writing papers and academic texts. We have LaTeX courses both for beginn
 ers and for advanced users. This course is an advanced course\, and you w
 ill get the most out of the course if you already have some experience wi
 th LaTeX\, and you know the basics. The course will cover more advanced t
 opics you will need when writing a thesis or an academic text in LaTeX. D
 uring the course\, you will learn how to use multi-panel figures\, create
  advanced tables\, and insert lists of figures and tables into your docum
 ents. We will also cover including appendices in a thesis\, using abbrevi
 ations\, changing the page numbering system of a document\, and last but 
 not least how to create commands with custom output. The course is built 
 around practical examples which will be shown in Overleaf\, which every 
 NTNU student can use freely. Overleaf is a cloud tool\, and you do not ne
 ed to install additional software to join the course.  The University Li
 brary's LaTeX course is digital\, and will be taught in The Virtual Libr
 ary. The course will be held in English.
