2026 Snowmobile Course

This course is for students / staff that will use snowmobiles for their fieldwork.

General information:

Starting time: 08:30. Meet in reception.
Duration: 7h
Course starts with a lecture at UNIS on rules and regulations, smowmobile driving, mechanics and sled packing. We dress up and leave UNIS at around 1030. Lunch outside
Location: UNIS + Outdoors

What to bring:

Driver's license
Warm Clothing. You will be provided with snowmobile suit, shoes, mittens, helmet, goggles and balaclava.
Lunch

After the lesson, the students/staff shall:

Have basic knowledge on snowmobile driving and UNIS regulations.
