Seminar for staff, PhD and Master Students with independent field projects, or with responsibility for others during fieldwork. The seminar will go more into depth than the safety course, including more discussions on how to make a safe plan related to the travel on snow covered glaciers. The seminar involves practical exercises, buddy rescue and case studies at Longyear glacier, as well as safe travel in melt water channels.
